How Finding the Right Niche Market Can Turn Ordinary Profits
Into Extraordinary Profits

According to the Internet World Statistics, as of March 31
2008, an estimated 73.1% of North Americans are Internet
users and almost 50% of adult Americans are broadband users.
Do you know what this means? The fact is obvious, Americans
have adopted to the new world marketplace called the
Information Superhighway and it is safe to say that the
market potential online is huge and will grow to phenomenal
rates as the world adopts to the Internet over the next
several years.

This information brings up a very important point right now,
as the time is NOW to start an online Internet home based
business. If you ever had any doubts as to why you should
start, these statistics should leave no room for doubt in
your mind that the opportune moment is NOW. Although the
marketing potential online is huge, not just any online home
based business will work. Selling items like tomatoes and
chicken noodle soup are common staple items that you can
probably find in a store and probably would rather buy in
the store. Therefore, you probably would make very little
income if any if you focused your online home based business
efforts in these markets. That is where finding NICHE
MARKETS come into play.

A niche market is people with specific interests and needs.
They go online to find solutions to problems, but they find
very few answers to their questions and demands. The way to
explode your income online is to tap into these niche
markets and provide the information and supply that these
group of people are looking for. For the small online home
based business, this is the perfect market to focus on as
the huge Corporations focus most of their marketing efforts
in the large overall markets.

Before you start thinking that niche markets are only a
small market on the Internet and probably everyone looking
to start an online home based business has already filled
the gaps in these niche markets, think again, there are
millions of untapped markets that an online home based
business can literally make a healthy and profitable
business out of.

So I’m convinced that I should focus my online home based
business efforts in these niche markets, how do I find these
niche markets? That is a great question, the answer to that
question is market research. Before buying any inventory, or
having the big manufacturer turn your ideas into a physical
product, you need to perform market research. The first
place to perform this research is of course the one place
where we will market our products, the Internet.

The Internet is a huge treasure trove of information and
ideas. The best place to find this information is by
performing a search on one of the big search engines. The
largest search engine of course is Google and the second
largest being Yahoo. These search engines should be the
first place you search for in order to find targeted niche
markets for your online home based business venture.

As a closing thought, perform a search on one of these
search engines and try to see how much results you get,
continue to search until you find low results on a specific
search you perform. Examine only the first two pages of
links or the first 20 results that come up very carefully.
It is a proven statistic that the majority of people
performing searches on a search engine will not go past the
first two pages of results and that is why you should focus
only on these first two pages yourself. If one of these low
search results interest you, go ahead and click on it, study
the website and see what you like and what you don’t like.
See what you can do differently that can make it better and
write these down. I will go into more detail in a second
article detailing more specific steps on how to really dig
deep into these niche markets and come out with a winner, so
until then, I wish all of you the best of success in your
search for your perfect online home based business.

Niche Marketing On Crack - How To Start Niche Marketing If
You Are A Complete Newbie

If you have heard of niche marketing (I’ll explain the “on
crack” in a moment) but don’t really understand what is
behind the concept, you will probably be somewhat confused
about how to start. Whatever you do, don’t buy into
membership of a program that claims it will be able to build
profitable niche websites for you in minutes and enable you
to earn a fortune with very little effort. Earning money is
never that easy, those programs don’t live up to their
claims. If your ideas about what niche marketing involves
are hazy, the best place you can start is to buy one of the
reasonably priced e-books that you can download instantly.

Niche Marketing Books

The choice of book depends upon your level of knowledge and
previous experience online. The earlier publications tend
to assume a certain level of experience or marketing
knowledge on the part of the reader. As word about the
benefits of niche marketing spreads, experienced marketers
have started to turn their attention to providing
instructions which can be followed by novices. Niche
Marketing On Crack is the title of one such book.

Niche Marketing On Crack - The System

This book sets out step by step how to do “Niche Marketing
On Crack” but don’t worry, you don’t have to resort to
drugs, it’s just called that to get attention. Although the
instructions are given step by step so that even a total
newbie can follow along and learn everything right from the
beginning, the timescales given in the book are not, in my
humble opinion, realistic for the average person with no
previous Internet marketing experience, so don’t feel
inadequate if setting up your first niche website takes you
a day or two longer than the estimate given in the book. A
couple of extra days getting set up will not make a
significant difference and you will get faster as you go on.

Niche Marketing - Starting From Within

Success with your niche marketing business depends upon you
and what you put into it. If you choose for your niche a
subject you find interesting, you will have more to say
about your niche topic and will be more inclined to spend
time working on your niche website.

Make a list of possible niche topics. This list can be as
long as you like and the ideas can be as dull or crazy as
you want. You will refine your list during the next step.
Also, you will go on to build further niche websites, so
save your list for the future.

Niche Marketing - The Outside World

The next step (which is in two parts) is to find out whether
there is a ready audience for your niche subject and whether
the amount of competition already in existence is low enough
for the niche to prove profitable for you. If you are
working from the book, Niche Marketing On Crack, you will
find detailed instructions to help you with this process.

With your list of topics in mind, you need to do some
research to ascertain what people are searching for online.
If your number 1 niche topic is something that nobody or
hardly anyone else would want to learn about, go to the next
topic and work down your list until you find a subject that
attracts a reasonable amount of interest.

Then you need to research the competition. If the
competition for a particular niche is too fierce, go back to
your list and start looking at the next possibility. The
perfect niche will have enough people interested in it and
few enough other websites competing for visitors. This
process is not difficult: there are free online tools to
enable you to perform this research. Although it is not
difficult, choosing a niche can be time consuming but it is
vital to do your research thoroughly to have any hope of
succeeding with niche marketing.

If you are using the instructions contained in “Niche
Marketing On Crack” to start your niche marketing career,
you will notice the system does not emphasise that you
should find a niche relating to a topic you already know
about. This is because prior knowledge is not essential:
you can research any topic which offers a profitable niche.
I suggest starting with a niche you can relate to easily
because that will help you get your first niche site up and
running as quickly as possible . Once you have your first
niche site in full working order, the process will come
automatically to you and you can afford to spend time
researching different areas.

Affiliate Marketing Tactics - Why You Should Choose A Niche
Market?

Choosing a market is important if you want to start your own
business. Since the internet is so big, there are many
different markets that you can find where you can build your
main business. Since the market is so big, it will be a
better idea for you to start off your business on a niche
market.

Niche market can be simple defined as a very targeted market
where there will be a group of people who will be very
interested in a specific topic. For example, Golf is a very
generic market. If you are doing to start your business in
Golf, it will be very difficult and competitive for you to
be successful because all the big companies will be there.

But if you do choose a sub market like “2nd Hand Golf Club”,
you will have higher chances of being profitable in your
business because it is more targeted. Your business will be
targeted towards customers who are looking for 2nd hand golf
club”. The competition will be lesser and you will have the
higher of dominating your niches.

Choosing a niche market will also helps you to save on your
advertising cost. If you are going to do pay per click
marketing and bid for the generic keywords, it will be very
expensive. If you instead bid of keywords that are related
to a particular niche market, the cost will not be so high
and you will be able to profit more easily.

If you are searching for a market where you can start your
business in, you should stay focus on finding one niche
market. Do not make the mistake of choosing a generic market
as you will face many frustrations because of competition
and the high cost of advertising.

Niche Marketing - Can You Select The Most Profitable Keyword
Group, Before Launch?

In a previous article, I wrote about how it is necessary to
segment the markets described by different keyword groups,
and survey them all, while combining similar ones, in
keeping with Dr Livingston’s methods.

The next step is for you to decide which keyword group
represents profitable sales, even before entering the
market. You may be skeptical, but there is a way to do this.

Separating these keyword groups will help you to start
catering to the more profitable ones, right away. And
postpone handling riskier ones (the ones you need to expend
more effort on), till later. You may tackle them after you
have documented how well the more profitable groups react.

How do you decide which keyword groups — representing
maximum sales in your market of choice — you should launch
with?

You have the responding group of people taking a survey. You
track these people, so that you know which keyword group a
respondent came from. It is a fact that the more willing
people are to take a survey, the more willing they will be
to continue the relationship (opt onto your e-list, or sign
up for your newsletter). And the more likely they will
eventually buy a product from you.

Of course, you must write good sales copy for this
promotion, but you will be able to do this by lifting the
language from the respondents’ survey answers. And anywhere
from 5 to 10 % of this profitable group could finally ending
up buying your product. And you can do all this without
selling anything, without even designing a product. All you
have to do is survey the target group, and tabulate and
calculate the results with a simple Excel spreadsheet.

Then, there is a group called Hyper Responsive Buyers, who
buy a lot from you. They typically represent 5 % of your
market, but contribute more than 50 % to your sales. These
people are an important segment of your market. You would do
well to talk to them and get to know everything about them.
So that your bottom line goes up eventually, and most
significantly.

For instance, your survey may reveal that some of the people
making a particular mention in their response are 20 times
more likely to sign up for a continuity program, such as a
cholesterol medication. By making a telephone call to such
people, you can squeeze out everything about them and make
sure they buy from you.

So, coming back to the point, the key to good business is
getting to know 100 % of a customer’s concerns and needs.
Though most marketers understand this, they fall far short
of the intensity of information gathering required. So you
will be the one to have maximum information about the
customer - and you will be the one to sell the products and
leave your competitors far behind.

Two Effective Niche Marketing Strategies

Effective niche marketing ideas

Once you have chosen your niche and researched it you will
need some ideas on what to do within that community to draw
a huge stampede of traffic through your sites. One of the
best methods of doing this is to find prominent members of
the niche you are targeting and ask them if you can conduct
an interview.

Take some time to research the people you approach. Browse
through some news sites related to your niche and spend
sometime in forums. Try to find out what the most popular
forum threads with a lot of interest from the niche
community. Write down a sample list of questions which you
can easily modify for different people.

Next you should pick a number of people within the niche
community and find out about them. You will need to find out
their contact details, email address or a website where they
can be contacted from. Make a short list and put together a
short biography next to each of their names. Now slowly take
your original interview questions and tailor them to each
person.

Now there are various ways in which you can conduct the
interview. Most of the time it will be easiest to conduct a
text based interview where you email your list of questions
and ask them to take some time to answer each question and
email it back. Other people may prefer a one on one approach
and you can record a phone call or audio conversation from
your computer. The best way to interview someone would to be
to actually meet them in person and have a friend film you.
This would be excellent content to distribute on you tube or
any other viral video sites.

Simple ideas such as this can be very effective in niche
marketing. It’s up to you to decide whether or not you
intend to charge people to read, listen to or watch your
interview. Most of the time it’s better to brand the
interview with your name and website and distribute it for
free. The viral way this will spread around your niche will
be highly effective at drawing traffic to your website. A
simple email capture form will be all that’s needed. Ask
your niche to sign up to your newsletter in return for your
interview. This is an easy way to build a list and a good
reputation within any niche.

Another great way to draw traffic to your websites or to
help you build a list of subscribers is to use forums. I’m
not talking about using a signature with a link to your
website in every forum post you make even though that is a
very effective way and should also be used. You should make
your own forum about your niche and spend some time to build
a small community around this forum.

The more different topics in your forum you can make for

The Advantages of Internet Marketing

In it’s most basic sense, Internet marketing is like finding
a market and seeing what they are searching for, then giving
them what ever product or service they want to purchase
through the Internet. There are many advantages to Internet
marketing.

The biggest advantage to Internet marketing is how easy it
is to get into it. All it takes is about ten dollars to
purchase your own domain name for an entire year. You can
also get web hosting for around fifty dollars a month, which
is less than one thousand dollars a year.

This leads us right into the second advantage of Internet
marketing which is the low overhead. With Internet marketing
your overhead is a computer which you can purchase for less
than seven or eight hundred dollars. You will also need to
get some type of Internet service hooked up, which is
generally inexpensive because the market is so competitive.
You should also get some keyword search tools, as week as
auto responder software for your marketing.

One of the greatest advantages to Internet marketing is that
there is so much geographic flexibility. With this you are
able to be any where in the world as long as you can get an
Internet connection, and your business will be open twenty
four hours a day, seven days a week. You also don’t have to
deal with a schedule or a boss. I have yet to find a single
person who hasn’t had an encounter with an arrogant boss.
With Internet marketing you are the only one you have to
deal with. Which leads me to the next benefit of Internet
marketing. You will not have to deal with co workers
anymore. You have the most freedom you can get with work
when you stick to Internet marketing.

Affiliate Niche Marketing Tips

Tips for getting started in Affiliate Marketing

Newbies, here is a crash course in the basis behind
affiliate marketing. (Seasoned vets will probably recognize
all the steps outlined here)

Affilate marketing allows you to get paid promoting other
people’s products:

It is a well-known fact that in the information business,
there are two types of people, people who are best at
generating content (experts), and those who are great at
marketing it.

Affiliate marketing attempts to fuse these two types of
people together in the best way, allowing an affiliate to
gain commissions based on his/her marketing of another’s
product or service online. Today it is so easy to become an
affiliate marketer that you don’t even have to know the
person whose stuff you’re promoting! Clickbank offers the
biggest variety of products for you to promote, but other
sites are trying to gain a foothold in this realm, like
paydotcom.com. The great thing about affiliate marketing is
that those with the most limited amount of web experience
can gain the tools to build their business rather quickly.

Steps

1. Join Clickbank.com to look for products to promote

2. Join Aweber, Get Response or other email campaign
software

3. Build a simple one page website using Wordpress, being
sure to allow users to

opt-in on this site using forms from Aweber.

4. Write articles about the product using some of the ad
copy and what you know

about the product (I suggest buying any product you wish to
promote).

5. Offer other affiliate marketing tips as an incentive to
people to opt-in to your website.

6. Insert your affiliate link as a tag in the article and
post them to Ezinearticles.com. (there are many others, but
this is the biggest).

7. If someone clicks through from your link and purchases,
you get paid!

Niche Marketing on Crack - My Passport to 2500 Dollars a
Month

When I first got started with affiliate marketing, I was
stumped about how to choose a niche to go into. I was bad at
picking products to promote. And I had an upside down
approach to structuring and designing an affiliate site.
Basically, I was doing the complete opposite of what I
needed to be doing to be making nice money each month with
affiliate marketing.

And it bummed me out, big time!

I was putting so much time and effort into creating
graphics, coming up with articles and unique content,
letting other people know about my wonderful new sites, and
working up a sweat that I was somehow losing site of the
basic principle you need to master in affiliate marketing:

Sell products people are already buying.

I was going into all of these obscure little niches where,
as I soon discovered, there were few if any buyers. I was
creating way too much free content, too - writing thousands
of pages of articles and distributing them across forums,
websites, and article directories. I was providing wonderful
information for other people but I wasn’t making a dime!

After I began counting more gray hairs which were rapidly
appearing at my hairline, I grew desperate.

I felt developmentally disabled - seriously handicapped when
it came to choosing products to promote and selling them
successfully. Why was it so hard for me?

Like many Internet marketers, I did a lot of reading and
research. I had piles of eBooks and reports on my desk. I
had even more of them sitting on my desktop. But somehow,
each new eBook was exhausting to read. They all promoted
“systems” that were so complex it would take me months to
learn how to use the special software the author
recommended. Or it would take ages for me to master some
complex linking strategy, and then I’d find out soon enough
that the technique didn’t work for long.

So then it was back to the drawing board.

Along the way I developed a craving for simplicity. I
stopped buying “systems” and complicated reports. I focused
on building skills instead. And I only bought reports that
taught simple skills or easy techniques that were
practically guaranteed to make me money - as long as I was
willing to put in some effort.

Somewhere in my journey I discovered Niche Marketing on
Crack by Andrew Hansen, a sharp, successful Internet
marketer from Australia. This book gave me a shot of
adrenalin like no other eBook I’d purchased. He laid out a
remarkable yet simple way of targeting affiliate products
and setting up easy to manage minisites to promote them.

His techniques were so simple that they were revolutionary.
I’d never seen anyone teaching what he talks about in Niche
Marketing on Crack.

I set up some small websites using his techniques and could
not believe how well they worked. Each of them began
bringing me income almost right away - within about five
days at most.

And the best thing about the techniques outlined in Niche
Marketing on Crack is that you can benefit from the tiniest
trickles of traffic - in fact, you’re actually targeting
such specific visitors that you are unlikely to receive lots
of traffic on these sites. And that’s a good thing, because
you’re going after visitors who are in buying mode,
searching for specific products online. And these people are
predisposed to buy from you so it’s like taking candy from a
baby!

I call Niche Marketing on Crack sites “low effort” sites. I
earn thousands a month from the sites I created using Andrew
Hansen’s techniques, and these sites have become a lovely
part of my ongoing income from Internet marketing. I have
other sites that are very different, and I love those, too.
But there’s something wonderful about sitting down and
goofing off and creating a simple NMOC style of site and
knowing that profits will come in very fast, and they won’t
stop coming!

I always advise people to set up multiple profit channels
for their online businesses, so that they don’t get overly
dependent on one huge site. Servers go down, Google’s
algorithms change, and stuff happens. If you run into a
technical problem on one of your sites you could be out of
income pretty fast unless you have lots of other sites which
are also earning you decent money each month.

It’s easy and fast to set up Niche Marketing on Crack sites,
and you don’t have to be particularly geeky to do them,
either. Andrew Hansen advises setting up WordPress blogs,
but you can also create NMOC sites as regular html sites. I
have some set up in WordPress format and some are regular
html sites, and they all bring in juicy income each month.

I recommend Niche Marketing on Crack for affiliate marketers
of any type - if you’re just getting started, or if you’re
more experienced and are looking to build out more profit
producing affiliate sites. Either way, I think you’ll
benefit from this fabulous resource.

Learn how simple sites I created using Niche Marketing on
Crack earn me thousands per month at my Internet Marketing
Badger Blog.
